December 17th to December 23rd: So Will I (Do It Again)

This song (So Will I) as ministered by Osby Berry has not left my head (and mouth) for days now. It's been my go-to song for a week that started with a lot of uncertainty and fatigue.

I actually listened to the original Hillsong version later in the week, but this version is way better, in my opinion. It might be how passionate and into it Osby seemed, I love when people let go of the performance and just get into true worship. He channelled all of it to God, selfconsciouslessly. Even his runs were in praise, not to show off his range, like some other singers and even worship leaders do.

I also connected with the lyrics a lot. It spoke again to the awe inspiring God who made all and is in control of it. The one who never leaves us alone, in spite of our failures and pigheadeness. The one who is willing to take us back.  The one who we should worship, just as the creation He made does!
